Street Rodding has lost one of its Legends!

On June 18, 2004, one of Street Rodding's Legends quietly drove off into the night.
Bill Keifer died peacefully in his sleep from Atherosclerosis (Coronary Artery Disease).

Bill is survived by his loving wife: Diane;
his four children: David, Jerry, Mikel and Michelle;
and five grandchildren: Dylan, Alex, Jake, Kayla and Max.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Sunday, June 27th at the Waverly Chapel in Santa Ana (on the grounds of the Fairhaven Memorial Park ), which is located at 1700 E. Fairhaven in Santa Ana, CA.

Please note that the Waverly Chapel, although located on the grounds of the Fairhaven Memorial Park, is a separate entity. Fairhaven will not answer questions regarding Waverly Chapel. Please direct all questions to Waverly at (714) 532-5245. The Fairhaven website, however, does have the address, directions and map of the location.

Public Viewing and Reception:

A public viewing and reception will take place from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
A toast to Bill and words of remembrance will begin at 5:30pm.
Bill's friends will be invited to speak at the remembrance to share memories of Bill.

Street Rods are welcome and encouraged!

Memory Cards:

Memory cards will also be provided at the reception for guests to write of their stories and memories of Bill. In addition, the family is encouraging friends to donate photos you may have with Bill or of cars that were influenced by his work. If you are bringing photos, please write your full name (and date, if known) on the back side.

Other Information:

Flowers should be sent or brought to Waverly Chapel on Sunday no earlier than 2pm.
Flower arrangements can be obtained through Flowers by Evelyn at (714) 524-5348. If you have arrangements handled by Evelyn, she will be able to deliver the flowers to the Waverly Chapel.
